Ten openings available for ‘paid’ volunteer positions through Legacy Corps.

LEGACY CORPS VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE COMPANIONSHIP TO VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES SO THE FAMILY CAREGIVER CAN TAKE A BREAK AND TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES! Supporting family caregivers enables them to provide better care for a longer time in their homes, here people want to remain!
Volunteers are matched with families close to their neighborhoods to visit each week (10-12 hours).
Schedules are flexible and accommodate vacations, school and part time employment commitments.
Volunteers become part of a highly trained, committed, compassionate and FUN group.
Volunteers commit to one year of service, beginning with a 20 hour Orientation in November, and monthly training throughout the year.
Volunteers receive a monthly stipend of $167 to off-set costs of their service.
Volunteers Receive an Education Award of near $1500, to assist with student loans or future tuition.
Volunteers age 55+ may gift this Education Award to a child or grandchild!!!!
Ten current volunteers are continuing for another year of service,
with openings for ten new volunteers to join them.
